Dear Friends,
I was diagnosed in June of 2010 with Type 2 diabetes and have since done a lot of research on the subject of this disease. There is a lot of misinformation out there as to what foods a diabetic should eat and what he/she should avoid. For my part, I have found that Dr. Richard Bernstein's book, "Diabetes Solution," to be an excellent source of information to guide diabetics in maintaining normal blood sugar levels. Jenny Ruhl has also written a very excellent book to help diabetics understand and control their blood sugars. If you had to read two books in all the diabetic literature, I would highly recommend that you read these two first. The information they contain is invaluable.
